About Us
Merry Meet Temple is a Church based in Paganism, Metaphysics, and Spirituality. Our religion is Metaphysical Paganism.
Merry Meet Temple holds ritual gatherings for the Sabbats and the Esbats. (For actual dates and times, please see our calendar page.) After each ritual, we have a potluck feast to celebrate. All of our gatherings are open to the public, and all are welcome.
We are physically located in Check, Virginia, which is in Floyd County. Classes are offered during seminar weekends, retreats, and online. For more information on upcoming classes, please see our events page. Many of these classes can be used as credit toward our Certificate Programs.

Our Philosophy
We believe in the All, which is Mother, Father, God, Goddess, All that is, All that has been, and All that ever shall be. The All is that which is God, and may be called "Spirit" or "All".
The All is present in all living things. Each soul is a divine being that is part of the All.
We believe in not causing intentional harm and that intent is more important than either actions or words, which are merely expressions of one's intent. (Wicca expresses this in the Wiccan Rede, "An' it harm none, do what thou wilt.")
We believe that all intents, actions, and reactions have consequences, which we call "Three-Fold Return". Three-Fold Return refers to the Law of Three-Fold Return". This law states, "Whatever ye' do shall return to thee times three."
We believe that death is not the end of life; it is just a different level of life.
We believe in reincarnation. In essence, an individual may choose to return to a corporeal, earthly existence in a new body.
We believe that the ability to communicate with those who have died is not only possible but a scientifically proven phenomenon.
We believe that each person is directly responsible for creating her/his own reality. Each person, therefore, is responsible for her/his happiness. If a person does not like a part or aspect of her/his life, then she/he has the right to work on and thereby change that aspect.
We believe that the path to change is always available, both here on Earth and beyond.
We believe in the divine gift of mediumship.
